2012 Salt Lake Valley Utah Farmer’s Markets // Our Favorites!

Well friends, it’s here. That time of year where you can buy local fruits and veggies at your local farmer’s market. We’ve rounded up a few of our local favorites that we think you may enjoy.

What: Downtown Farmer’s Market in Salt Lake City
When: Saturdays, June 9th – October 27th, 8am – 1pm & Tuesday Evenings
Where: Pioneer Park, 400 W. 400 S., Salt Lake City, Utah
Why: You can’t go wrong with the Downtown Farmer’s Market. It’s in the heart of Salt Lake, attracts thousands of patrons, and has top notch food and entertainment. If you’re new to the world of farmer’s markets here in Utah, this is a good one to start out with.

What: Gardner Village Farmer’s Market
When: Saturdays, June 2nd – September 29th, 9am – 2pm
Where: Gardner Village, 1100 W. 7800 S., West Jordan, Utah
Why: This is a pretty happening place for crafts and food all year round, so their farmer’s market is sure to please.

What: Murray Park Farmer’s Market
When: August – October, Fridays 9am – 1pm & Saturdays 9am – 1pm
Where: Murray Park, 200 E. 5200 S.
Why: This is a favorite for produce, particularly produce in large quantities.

What: Sugar House Farmer’s Market
When: July – October, Fridays 4pm – 8pm
Where: Sugar House Shopping District on Monument Plaza at 2100 S. 1100 E.
Why: It’s a fun place to hang out on a Friday night, when most farmer’s markets in utah usually land Saturdays.

What: South Jordan Farmer’s Market
When: August – October, 8am – 2pm
Where: 1600 West Town Center Drive, South Jordan Utah
Why: One of the few farmer’s markets on the sound end of the valley.
